Important Announcement:

We appreciate the contributions from many Kannada scholars, talent groups and committee volunteers in USA, Karnataka and many parts of the world. We particularly appreciate the financial support offered by many committed sponsors in USA who have generously provided funding for the conference.

As we are getting ready for the final conference program and conference arrangements, we received a request from the Indian scholars to reschedule the conference.. Dr. Kambara has requested E-KAVI to reschedule the conference on behalf of his team of scholars. His and his team's professional commitments require him and his team to stay in Karnataka for the at least one month. He will let us know a new / rescheduled date in the second week of June 2004. It will be based on, but not limited to, a good date for the Indian scholars led by Dr. Kambara.

We will reschedule and promptly intimate everyone in participating and attending the conference well in advance. We will also send a poll to all of you with few options for the new dates, so that it is convenient to most or all of you.

Please note that your proposals and other interest to participate in the conference will be preserved by the E-KAVI leadership and conference committee. You do not have to resubmit your proposals.We request you to standby for further information from us. We wish all of you an enjoyable holiday season and happy new year.
